Homeschooling
vs
Public School?
First of all it isn't against the law to homeschool your kids. Rules and
regulations vary from state to state, so you will most definitely want
to be knowledgeable of your state and local homeschooling requirements.
But it is not against the law.
With the deplorable state of public schools today,
hundreds of thousands are getting out and seeking
the homeschooling alternative.
Today the
total lack of substance in the public schools and the political
correctness, and political opinion being forced upon our children is a
major reason for the exodus from public school to homeschooling.
Homeschooling your child gives you the opportunity to pass on to your
child the morals and core values that you want them to go forward in
life with. Homeschooling also gives you the advantage to give your child
a more focused learning experience on any subject matter without the
editorial political beliefs from someone in the public school system
that only worsens each and every day.
The law doesn't force us to subject our children to such low levels of
expectation as the public schools. True, we do have to financially
support the public schools but we do not have to participate in them.
If what you seek for your child is a straightforward education with
unlimited learning opportunities, choose homeschool over public
school. The opportunities for your child to take
any subject of interest, and reach any level of expertise that they
want, are just not available in today's public school system.
Every child should have the opportunity to achieve their highest
aspirations. Public schools increasingly no longer offer this type of
learning environment. Homeschooling does.
