Christian home school curriculum is among the methods that parents usually choose as the basis for their children in home school education. Christian home school looks different for every family. Most parents in the United States are beginning to use it as they recognize their responsibility to their own offspring. Different families have different approaches on Christian home school.

Curriculum depends on the students. There are those families who maintain an environment complete with schedules, desks, textbooks, lesson plans flag salute and believe it or not they even include recess in between schedules. Other families on the other hand choose home schooling their lifestyle where they opt not to use the class room style and gear away from strict schedules. There are parents who choose not to use texts or work books with their Christian home school. Curriculum that is set up though is not the issue rather the goal is the one that is important.

It is essential that the children be provided with valuable information while also teaching them to become independent beings and critical thinkers who are responsible for the choices they made and for the world around them. To those families who make home school their life style, both the parents and children learn together through meaningful experiences in their lives.  Learning and studying become a part of the family’s daily routine instead of the traditional class room setting. Home schooling families can adjust their life styles depending on their philosophies in order to adjust to Christian home schooling. However due to varying state laws and requirements for home schooling, some home schools may have more text and work book than hands on experience. Others will have the chance to take advantage of unlimited resources that they have around them. Some can utilize nature, literature, music and other sorts of arts as well as economics as their primary sources of education.

The advantage of home schooling lies on the fact that the parents can have the freedom to accommodate each child’s unique learning style thus providing him a greater avenue of personal growth. Christian home school curriculum takes that further by incorporating good spirituality into the teaching.
